Diving in cold water, as in the Barents, Norwegian and White Seas, entails a serious attitude to diving, not only from the organisers, but also from the divers themselves.
- The diving is supervised by skilled instructors and dive guides, who have excellent knowledge of the most interesting places and are highly familiar with the conditions and features of northern diving.
- All safety standards are strictly observed during the dives.
- Dives are carried out directly from deck of the Kartesh or from inflatable Zodiacs or RIBs that transport divers directly to the site.
- Safety boats are nearby throughout the dives.
- It is possible to do 4 dives per day.
- Hot drinks and sandwiches are served directly on the dive deck after each dive.
- The Kartesh has on board all the equipment needed for diving support: 2 compressors, steel cylinders (12 l) and weight belts with weighs.
- There are opportunities for technical diving (Nitrox, Trimix).
